How much would it cost to get a fence for peacocks?
I want to get peafowl eggs from eBay for my large-sized yard. About how much would it cost to get a fence for maybe four or five, six peacocks. Oh, and not a kind where my dogs can get into it and kill them.
Pea fowl are huge birds, like turkeys. You would need a large enclosure to provide them with the amount of room they would need. In addition they can fly so you will have to have strong netting or wire to cover the entire top.They are a loud bird as well, ask your neighbors before you invest in birds. About a quarter of an acre would be ideal and a strong fence with a top could be thousands of dollars.
